Prix Polaris Prize Photo Exhibition
Each year 10 Canadian visual artists are commissioned to create a unique art piece inspired by a nominated album on the Polaris Music Prize Short List. These vivid graphic interpretations of the nominees’ music are then developed into limited edition, silk-screened prints.

About the Event
For the first time ever, these newly commissioned artworks will be displayed across Canada as part of the four-city Polaris Traveling Poster Exhibition taking place in Calgary, AB (Sloth Records), Toronto, ON (Sonic Boom), Halifax, NS (Taz Records) and Montreal, QC (Librairie Résonance Bookstore) between September 1st and September 30th. Each exhibition will include displays of this year’s works. Posters will be available to order at exhibition locations and are currently on sale now via the Polaris website.
